Wakil Presiden (Wapres) Gibran Rakabuming Raka meninjau proyek Mass Rapid Transit atau Moda Raya Terpadu (MRT) Jakarta Fase 2 di Jakarta Pusat, Senin sore.
Berdasarkan keterangan Biro Pers Media dan Informasi Setwapres yang diterima di Jakarta, peninjauan tersebut dilakukan usai Gibran menghadiri pelantikan Wakil Menteri dan Sekretaris Kabinet Merah Putih di Istana Negara, Jakarta.
Didampingi Menteri Perhubungan (Menhub) Dudy Purwagandhi dan Pj Gubernur DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi, Wapres meninjau perkembangan pengerjaan Stasiun Monumen Nasional (Monas) dan Stasiun Thamrin yang menjadi bagian dari MRT Fase 2 Lintas Selatan-Utara (Bundaran HI-Kota).
Dengan berjalan kaki, Wapres beserta pendamping dan rombongan terbatas menelusuri terowongan dari Stasiun Monas ke Stasiun Thamrin sepanjang kurang lebih 350 meter yang saat ini pekerjaan sipilnya telah mencapai 82 persen.
Salah satu yang menjadi penekanan Wapres dalam peninjauan itu adalah pentingnya ketepatan waktu pelaksanaan proyek dan penghijauan kembali usai penyelesaian proyek.
Dikutip dari laman jakartamrt.co.id, proyek pembangunan MRT Jakarta Fase 2 membentang sepanjang 11,8 kilometer dari kawasan Bundaran HI hingga Ancol Barat. Fase 2 tersebut melanjutkan koridor utara-selatan fase 1 yang telah beroperasi sejak 2019 lalu, yaitu dari Lebak Bulus sampai Bundaran HI.
Dengan hadirnya fase 2, total panjang jalur utara-selatan menjadi 27,8 kilometer dengan total waktu perjalanan dari Stasiun Lebak Bulus hingga Stasiun Kota sekitar 45 menit.
Jarak antarstasiun sekitar 0,6-1 kilometer dengan sistem persinyalan kendali kereta berbasis komunikasi (CBTC) dan sistem operasi otomatis tingkat 2.
