“Aktivitas padat, penggunaan makeup, serta pola hidup yang kurang teratur sering kali berdampak buruk pada kondisi kulit. Apalagi kebiasaan lupa menghapus makeup karena kelelahan dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah kulit,” katanya.
Jika lupa menghapus makeup, terkadang keesokan harinya langsung bermunculan tekstur seperti bruntusan, hal ini dikarenakan sisa makeup dan kotoran dapat menyumbat pori-pori, menyebabkan komedo hingga milia. Oleh karena itu, lakukan pembersihan wajah menyeluruh dengan double cleansing.
Ia menekankan pentingnya motivasi untuk menjaga kebersihan wajah meski dalam kondisi lelah.
“Minimal cuci muka dan lakukan double cleansing, karena itu dasar perawatan kulit,” kata dr Selly.

Selain itu, dr Selly merekomendasikan penggunaan skincare dengan bahan yang aman dan sesuai kebutuhan kulit. Ia juga merekomendasikan penggunaan sunscreen dengan SPF 15 atau 30 yang harus diaplikasikan ulang tiga kali sehari, bahkan saat di rumah pun wajib menggunakan suncreen, untuk melindungi kulit dari efek buruk uap atau asap masakan.
Kemudian, membersihkan wajah secara rutin dengan mencuci muka atau double cleansing, seperti menggunakan micellar water, juga sangat penting.
Untuk hasil optimal, dr Selly menyarankan treatment skin booster yang dapat meningkatkan hidrasi, memperbaiki tekstur, dan mencegah penuaan. Namun, ia menggarisbawahi bahwa 60-80 persen keberhasilan perawatan kulit berasal dari kedisiplinan diri sendiri.
