Baru saja selesai dihelat kompetisi renang perairan terbuka Ta’aktana Open Water Festival 2024. Atlet nasional Aflah Fadlan jadi juaranya.
Kompetisi itu yang bertajuk Limbang Tacik Ta’a ini digelar di area pantai Ta’aktana, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Labuan Bajo, Sabtu (5/10/2024). Untuk tahun ini ada banyak atlet luar negeri yang ikut serta. Untuk rentang usia peserta non-atlet di kisaran 20 sampai 59 tahun.
Perenang nasional Aflah Fadlan tampil sebagai pemenang di nomor paling bergengsi yakni 5.000 meter dengan catatan waktu 1 jam 20 detik.
“Limbang Tacik Ta’a juga ini memiliki jalur lomba dengan perairan yang jernih dan pemandangan pulau-pulau kecil di Labuan Bajo yang sangat indah,” kata Fadlan dalam rilis kepada detikSport.
“Saya merasa sangat senang dengan rekor waktu yang saya raih, dan sangat antusias untuk mempertahankan gelar saya di edisi tahun depan,” sambungnya.
Sementara itu di nomor 5.000 meter putri, atlet renang nasional, Adinda Larasati Kirana Dewi menjadi pemenang dengan catatan waktu 1 jam 13 menit 37 detik.
Renaldus Iwan Sumarta selaku inisiator event Limbang Tacik Ta’a, bersyukur atas suksesnya penyelenggaraan kompetisi renang perairan terbuka edisi perdana ini.
