Presiden terpilih Prabowo Subianto memanggil 49 tokoh yang akan menjadi calon menteri dan wakil menteri ke kediamannya, Jalan Kertanegara, Jakarta, Senin (14/10/2024). Pemanggilan sejumlah tokoh ini dilakukan sejak sore hingga malam hari.
Tampak, beberapa menteri jajaran kabinet Indonesia Maju milik Presiden Jokowi dan Ma’ruf Amin, seperti Airlangga Hartarto, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Agus Gumiwang, Bahlil Lahadalia, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Zulkifli Hasan, Erick Thohir, Budi Gunadi Sadikin hingga Pratikno. Kemudian, ada pula sejumlah tokoh partai a.l. politisi Gerindra Fadli Zon, politisi Golkar Meutya Hafid, politisi Partai Gerindra Maruarar Sirait, politisi PKB Abdul Kadir Karding, politisi Golkar Nusron Wahid.
Adapula, sosok yang tampil mengejutkan kemarin, yakni mantan istri Basuki Purnama (Ahok) Veronica Tan dan istri mantan Direktur Utama Indika Energy Wishnu Wardhana, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana. Kemudian, tampak beberapa akademisi a.l. Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro dan Yassierli.
Selepas pertemuan, Prabowo mengatakan memang sengaja memanggil para calon pembantunya itu jelang pelantikan pada 20 Oktober 2024.
“Memang hari ini saya memanggil calon-calon menteri dan wakil menteri beberapa di antara mereka,” kata Prabowo dikutip Selasa, (15/10/2024).
Prabowo mengatakan sebenarnya proses seleksi calon menteri dan wamen sudah berlangsung lama. Dia mengatakan telah memantau dan berdiskusi dengan para calon pembantunya tersebut.
Presiden terpilih menegaskan 49 nama yang dia panggil belum mencakup semuanya. Dia menuturkan masih akan memanggil para wakil menteri dan menterinya pada Selasa, 15 Oktober 2024. Dia akan mengundang para calon menteri ke rumahnya pada sore hari.
“Masih ada wamen-wamen, menterinya masih ada beberapa yang sedang di luar kota,” kata dia.
