Group Head Corporate Transformation & Program Management Pelindo Mona Yudika mengungkapkan, jika membahas terkait mahalnya biaya logistik dan dibandingkan negara lain perlu dilihat dengan berbagai aspek.
Menurutnya, negara Indonesia berbeda dengan negara tetangga seperti Singapura dan Malaysia. Pelabuhan Singapura, merupakan pelabuhan transhipment yang mana kapal-kapal hanya mampir untuk bongkar muat. Berbeda dengan pelabuhan Indonesia yang merupakan gateway yang mana bongkar muat barang-barangnya berasal dari industri.
“Kalau di Singapura ibarat mampir, kalau kita mau membandingkan dari sisi biaya logistik ini kita harus hati-hati,” ujarnya dalam acara Penguatan BUMN Menuju Indonesia Emas di Jakarta, Rabu (2/10/2024).
Mona menjelaskan, Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan barang-barangnya langsung dikirimkan kepada pengguna barang atau pengirim barang. Sehingga, untuk membandingkan biaya logistik perlu dilihat dari berbagai aspek.
Dia mengatakan, biaya logistik Indonesia saat ini sebesar 14,29%. Sementara, porsi pelabuhan sekitar 1 – 2%. Pelindo sendiri, dalam hal ini berkontribusi dalam penurunan port stay atau waktu ‘parkir’ di pelabuhan.
Salah satu fokus Pelindo pascamerger, kata Mona, mengintegrasikan pelabuhan dan kawasan industri. Hal itu salah satunya diwujudkan dengan dibangunnya Java Integrated Industrial and Port Estate (JIIPE) di Gresik, Jawa Timur. Termasuk, mengintegrasikan pelabuhan dan kawasan industri dengan pembangunan tol.
“Jalan tol Cilincing yang koneksikan antara pelabuhan di area Tanjung Priok itu dengan kawasan industri yang ada di area timur kita bicara Bekasi, Karawang, Cikarang dan sebagainya,” pungkasnya.
